Terms of service.

These terms govern your use of Snipprompt — the Chrome extension at snipprompt on the Chrome Web Store and the web service at snipprompt.com. By installing the extension or signing in, you agree to them. If you don't, don't.

What you get

Snipprompt saves prompts and lets you inject them into supported AI chat sites with a keyboard shortcut. The free tier holds up to 10 prompts and works without an account, in your browser only. The Pro tier removes the prompt limit and syncs your library across devices through a Snipprompt account.

Accounts

You're responsible for the security of your account credentials. Don't share them. Tell us if you think someone else got in.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you're representing a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it.

Billing

• —Pro is $9 per month, or $79 per year — billed in advance through Stripe.
• —You can cancel any time from /billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we don't pro-rate refunds for partial months.
• —When a subscription ends, your account stays — but the prompt count goes back to the free-tier limit. You won't lose your saved prompts; you just can't add new ones past ten until you upgrade again.
• —Prices may change. We'll give at least 30 days' notice via email before any change affects your subscription, and you can cancel before it takes effect.

Your content

Your prompts belong to you. By using Snipprompt's sync feature you grant us a limited license to store and transmit those prompts so the product can do its job — copying them between your devices, displaying them in the picker, and (if you ask us to) deleting them.

That's it. We don't claim any ownership and we don't use your prompts to train models.

Acceptable use

Don't use Snipprompt to:

• —Break the law in your jurisdiction.
• —Generate or distribute prompts designed to produce illegal content, including content that exploits minors.
• —Abuse, scrape, or attempt to reverse-engineer our service in ways that degrade it for other users.
• —Resell, sublicense, or rebrand the product without written permission.
• —Violate the terms of the AI services Snipprompt injects into. Each site you use the extension on has its own terms; you're responsible for following them.

We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. Where possible we'll warn first; in clear-cut cases we may not.

Service availability

Snipprompt is provided as-is. We aim for high uptime but make no formal SLA commitments at this stage. The free tier works entirely in your browser, so server outages don't affect it. The Pro sync service can have downtime; if it's prolonged or recurring, contact us.

AI sites occasionally change their composer markup. When they do, injection may break until we ship a fix. Free-tier users see this immediately; Pro users get the same update.

Disclaimer and liability

To the extent permitted by law, Snipprompt is provided without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim — or $50 if you've paid us nothing.

Termination

You can stop using Snipprompt at any time by uninstalling the extension and (if you have an account) deleting it from /account. We can terminate accounts for the reasons listed under acceptable use, or if we discontinue the service — in which case we'll give 30 days' notice and let you export your data.

Changes to these terms

Material changes will be announced on the dashboard. Continued use after a change means you accept it. The effective date above always reflects the current version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of the operator's place of business.
